Kvintus Kollegiet is a charming, small dormitory building located close to the scenic Lergravsparken on Amager. The dormitory was built in 1969 and consists of four floors with a number of attractive apartments. Here you will find 83 single-room apartments and 12 two-room apartments, all with their own bathroom, toilet, and a practical kitchen nook. The apartments vary in size from 33 to 53 square meters, and access is via cozy outdoor balconies. It is possible to apply for housing support for all leases, and the apartments are rented unfurnished.

In 2008, the dormitory was expanded with a modern top floor, which houses 22 new apartments and a lovely rooftop terrace. This floor offers both one- and two-room apartments. For those who wish to stay fit, the fitness center at the dormitory was renovated in 2020 and is now ready to be used. However, it is important to note that smoking is not allowed on the dormitory grounds, and the same applies to pets.

The location is ideal for students, as the dormitory is just a 10-minute walk from the popular Amager Strandpark and only a short metro ride from Nørreport. Lergravsparken metro station is only a three-minute walk from the dormitory, making it easy to get around the city.

A special arrangement at the dormitory is that when you are assigned an apartment, there will be a renovation period at the beginning of your rental period. This means that if your contract starts on the 1st of the month, the apartment will be renovated from that date, and you can expect to move in up to 14 days later. However, you will pay rent from the 1st, but in return, you can stay until the last day of your notice period, as the new tenant pays rent during the renovation.

To strengthen the community at the dormitory, there is an active Facebook group where residents can share events and announcements. It is recommended to join the group to get the most out of dormitory life.

Please note that to apply for an apartment at Kvintus Kollegiet, you must have at least one year left of your studies from the desired move-in date. The waiting time to get an apartment is approximately two years, so it is a good idea to apply well in advance.
