Welcome to Tunet, a special property located in a scenic area where community and self-sufficiency are the focus. Here you can become part of a unique housing community where integration and collaboration are central. Tunet is established in collaboration between Roskilde Nord Housing Association, Rockwool, and Roskilde Municipality. The property offers small, well-designed basic housing for young people, refugees, and families. Specifically for you are the youth apartments, which are available as one-room and two-room apartments. These apartments are designed to give young students a good starting point in life with their own kitchen, bathroom, and toilet.

The property is built around an open common area with a large greenhouse that serves as a community house. The area is ideal for resourceful young people who want to live close to nature and participate in gardening. Here you will live among fields and close to a cozy single-family home neighborhood with a daycare center. Public transport is easily accessible, with bus line 220 right by the property, which goes to RUC and Trekroner Station.

Tunet is strategically located for students, as it is only 500 meters from RUC and Absalon University College. Trekroner Station and shopping facilities are 1.5 km away, and Trekronerskolen is 2 km from there. For creative souls, the district of Musicon is just six kilometers from Tunet, surrounded by educational institutions such as HTX, Roskilde Technical School, and Zealand Business Academy.

We are looking for residents who want to be part of an active community. It is an advantage if you have experience with volunteer work and are ready to contribute to the social life in the department. This community helps support residents in refugee housing to become active citizens. Although anyone can apply for housing, couples have priority for the two-room apartments.

In terms of practical matters, there is the possibility of keeping a cat or a dog. The apartments come without a stove and refrigerator, but provisions have been made for the installation of these. An advance payment is made for electricity, while water and heating are paid directly to the provider. The waiting time for an apartment can vary and is typically estimated to be up to six months.
