Welcome to Solparken, a modern housing department located in the scenic Trekroner, close to both Trekroner Station and Roskilde University. Here we offer attractive youth housing with private kitchen, bathroom, and toilet, ensuring a private and comfortable everyday life.

The Solparken department was built in 2004 and consists of 24 one-room and 7 two-room youth apartments as well as 2 handicap-friendly one-room apartments. These bright apartments are designed with a west-facing living room that provides a lovely daylight experience. The apartments are beautifully situated on green areas without visible boundaries to the neighbors, and the ground floor apartments have direct access to the greenery outside.

In Solparken, there is also an inviting community house with a cashless laundry, where you can use a laundry card that is ordered through the housing company. The cost of laundry is integrated into the rent, and the laundry is located in the community house for easy access.

To live in Solparken, it is a requirement that you are in education. The one-room apartments are intended for one person, while the two-room apartments are suitable for two people. Living with children is allowed in the two-room apartments, and applications for housing benefits can be made.

The transport options from Solparken are good, with only a 5-minute walk to Trekroner Station. From here, trains depart several times an hour towards Copenhagen and Roskilde. Roskilde University and Roskilde Technical School are also within short distance, while Roskilde city center can be reached by bike in about 15 minutes.

For those who love pets, there is the option to bring either one small dog or two indoor cats, as long as they are marked and, in the case of cats, neutered. Smaller pets such as birds, rodents, fish, and non-toxic reptiles are also welcome.

If you are assigned an apartment in this lovely department, it is important to register with Boligselskabet Sjælland with your CPR number, which is free. If there are two people in the apartment, both must be registered. The registration ensures a smooth move-in and contact with the housing company.
