Filosofparken is an attractive housing department located in Trekroner, close to both Trekroner Station and Roskilde University. Here you will find modern youth housing that is ideal for young people in education. The department consists of a total of 252 homes, divided into 192 one-room apartments and 60 two-room apartments. All homes are equipped with their own kitchen, bathroom, and toilet, which gives you freedom and privacy in your daily life.

The one-room apartments are perfect for individuals, while the two-room apartments can be applied for by either one or two people. However, it is worth noting that two people are prioritized in the two-room apartments, making it a bit more difficult for individual applicants to be offered this type of housing. The two-room apartments have a single bedroom, so they are not optimal for families with children or for individuals who want separate bedrooms.

Filosofparken is designed with community and togetherness in mind. In the heart of the housing area, you will find a lovely green space that serves as both a park, a sports field, and a natural meeting place for residents. Here you can enjoy the sun on the balconies or participate in social activities in the common rooms that are made available. The department board manages these facilities, and there are also communal kitchens available if you wish to cook together with others.

To ensure a safe and inclusive housing experience, applicants with visual or functional disabilities have priority for the accessible housing. However, documentation is required, which must be sent to the administration. Filosofparken is a place where community and support are paramount, and therefore all residents are encouraged to actively participate in social life, including through the closed Facebook group where practical information and social events are shared.

With a central location in Trekroner, Filosofparken is well connected to public transport. It only takes five minutes to walk to Trekroner Station or Roskilde University, and you can reach Copenhagen Central Station in just 22 minutes by train. For the active, there is also a local running club and a BMX track in the area, as well as various shopping options and other facilities nearby.

Filosofparken allows pets, so if you have pets, you can bring up to two indoor cats or one dog with you. Dogs must be kept on a leash, but there is also a large dog park that can be used. Regarding finances, you can apply for housing benefits and deposit loans, which makes it easier to manage the financial aspects of living here. Water and heating are paid in advance, while electricity is paid directly to the electricity company. Internet and antenna fees are included in the rent.
