Papirøen is the new gem in Copenhagen's housing landscape. Located on the partially artificial island of Christiansholm, the residences offer an exquisite location in the heart of Copenhagen, surrounded by water on all sides. This unique location is part of a new cultural urban district, where one can find a wealth of amenities such as a water culture house, harbor bath, restaurants, cafes, and hotels.

The residences at Papirøen are a harmonious mix of owner-occupied homes and public rental apartments, accommodating both youth housing and family housing. Many of the family homes are designed as co-housing communities, which fosters a strong sense of community among residents. The waiting time to get a home here is typically over 12 months, but the central location and numerous opportunities make the wait worthwhile.

All homes at Papirøen are equipped with their own kitchen and bathroom, providing a high degree of privacy and comfort. Residents must bring their own white goods, but installations for standard-sized refrigerators are already prepared. The kitchens are modern with simple white fronts and a stylish dark countertop as well as a hood.

For those seeking community, there are common rooms available. On the 2nd floor, there is a smaller common room for the youth housing, while the 3rd floor offers two smaller common rooms for the co-housing community and one for the youth housing. These rooms are equipped with kitchenettes and are unfurnished, allowing residents to put their personal touch on the decor.

Each residence is equipped with a fiber internet connection, allowing residents to choose their internet provider and set up a router and Wi-Fi as needed. No separate antenna systems are established, giving freedom to choose among the many different providers.

To ease daily life, there is a shared payment laundry in the ground floor with both washing machines and dryers. Use of the laundry is billed separately from the rent. Bicycles can be parked in the basement, where there is a bike ramp, and there is also the option for paid car parking. For those with electric cars, charging options are available.

It is important to note that pets are not allowed in the residences at Papirøen. Upon moving in, a deposit must be paid, which ranges from approximately 27,000 to 32,000 kroner, depending on the size and type of the residence.
