Parent Foundation Student Housing in Frederiksberg

The Parent Foundation offers a unique student housing located in Frederiksberg, where peace and community go hand in hand. The student house is situated at the end of a quiet street and is surrounded by a large, inviting garden. Here you will find 12 cozy 2-room apartments, each with its own kitchen, spread over three floors: the ground floor, first floor, and second floor.

The basement is practically arranged with laundry and drying rooms as well as various storage rooms, while the attic offers a shared reading and work room along with additional storage space. Shared toilets and bathrooms are available on the floors, and there is also a spacious common garden room and smaller common rooms on the first and second floors.

Community is at the heart of student life here, and both children and adults appreciate the social interaction. Therefore, it is a requirement that you engage in cleaning and participate in house meetings. The student housing provides the perfect setting for both you and your child, with opportunities for interaction and networking with other single parents and students.

You can expect advice and guidance as needed, as well as access to a common living room and kitchen, where you can enjoy cozy moments with the other residents. The garden is equipped with facilities for play and relaxation, making it an ideal place for both children and adults.

To be considered for an apartment in the student housing, you must meet the following requirements: The child must have a registered address with you or a custody arrangement such as 7/7 or 9/5. You must be enrolled in a SU-eligible education or an approved vocational training, such as SoSu, and have at least one year left of your educational plan. Pets are not allowed, and you must have a desire to engage in a committed community with other single caregivers in education. Additionally, you must be registered for housing in at least two housing associations while living in the student housing.

Applications for an apartment can only be made directly through the Parent Foundation. It is important to note that signing up here on the site does not help. There is no waiting list for the Parent Student Housing, and available student apartments are continuously advertised on their website as well as on their social media platforms.
