Rental terms and facilities at Tingbjerg Kollegiet

It is not allowed to have a co-applicant associated with a 1-room apartment at Tingbjerg Kollegiet. These apartments are designed to house only one person, and FSB strictly enforces this rule. For the 2-room apartments, only members of the same household can live there, which means it is also not allowed to apply with others as co-applicants or let them move in afterwards.

The 1-room apartments are equipped with their own kitchen and bathroom, as well as the option to use a shared kitchen. The waiting time to get an apartment here is typically up to six months. Tingbjerg Kollegiet mainly consists of one-room apartments with their own bathroom and a small kitchen area, where residents must bring their own appliances.

The 2-room apartments are aimed at couples and include their own bathroom and kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. It is important to note that both residents must be enrolled in an approved education program to gain access to these apartments.

The Kollegiet underwent extensive renovation in 2013-14, where all apartments were upgraded with new bathrooms, tea kitchens in the single rooms, shared kitchens, and built-in wardrobes in the entrance. A modern ventilation system with heat recovery has been installed, contributing to a healthy indoor climate.

Each floor, which includes 15 rooms, has a shared kitchen with dining area, lounge area, and balcony. These kitchens are fully equipped. Additionally, there are shared facilities such as a gym, college bar, study rooms, café, bike workshop, billiards and table tennis room, affordable laundries, and two large gardens with barbecue areas.

The Kollegiet is ideally located on the outskirts of Tingbjerg, close to the scenic Utterslev Mose, which is Copenhagen Municipality's largest recreational area. There are ample opportunities for outdoor activities. Public transport, such as bus 2A and 81N, can quickly take you to the city center, and the bike ride takes about half an hour.

FSB estimates that most residents can receive housing benefits of 400-450 DKK per single room and 850-900 DKK per double room.
