Within a short cycling distance, you will find both Vestskoven and Hareskoven, where you can engage in recreational activities such as canoeing, fishing, and horseback riding. Additionally, there are good connections with public transport, as there are several bus lines in the area.

Lautrupgårdkollegiet was completed in 1991 as a result of an initiative from the Student Council and the board of the Engineering College, with the aim of providing more housing for students. The dormitory plays an important role in promoting the international exchange of both teachers and students at the Engineering College. The surrounding area, which is rapidly growing with office and industrial complexes, offers good opportunities for relevant student jobs as well as project and internship placements.

There are certain rules for living in the dormitory. Smoking indoors is not allowed, and pets are also not permitted. However, children are welcome. Housing assistance can be applied for to make the accommodation more financially manageable. Heating and water are included in the rent, while electricity is paid directly to the supplier. For the antenna, tenants can enter into an individual agreement, and internet is paid through the rent.

Upon moving in, a deposit equivalent to three months' net rent must be paid. Contracts are sent electronically, so it is a good idea to keep an eye on the spam folder, as some emails may end up there.
